STRENGTH TO LIVE Through interviews with more than 30 widows and widowers, it tells the real life stories of the widowed and distills the lessons gleaned to offer hope and healing for the widowed. The 131-paged book is also intended for care givers and others who may face the loss of someone special in their lives. A special section is devoted to help children cope with grief. The book is on sale at major bookstores and at WICARE’s office at $15. All proceeds from the sale of the book will go towards WICARE to fund programmes to help widows and the fatherless.
