Most of us widows are so afraid to talk about money matters. It’s often nerve-wrecking when faced with many financial decisions. I was so scared too when I was first widowed at 36. So I ‘sat’ on money decisions and wished they would go away. Is this you too? If so, do come for this session to raise your awareness about how your beliefs and behaviors around money are affected by unconscious patterns. Joan Swee, Honorary Secretary of Wicare, a trainer-consultant and an accredited Money Coach with Money Coach Institute Inc will be presenting this psycho-educational talk.

The program will be held over two full days, and is non-residential from 9.00am-6.30pm.

Counselling Service

Wicare is now able to extend FREE counselling service to widows, their teenagers and young adults on personal, family and work issues.

Geraldine Leow, Jacqueline Park and Joan Swee are past and current committee members of Wicare. They are intern counselors, under supervision, pursuing professional counselling studies with Swinburne University of Technology - Melbourne, ECTA (Executive Counselling & Training Academy) and Mount Elizabeth Charter, both of Singapore.

The counselling sessions will be at Wicare office, and each session will be between 1 to 1.5 hours, on a case-by-case basis. Referrals to professionals and other help agencies will be recommended as needed.
